Great Weekend For Our Football Athletes

While it was a rough weekend for my ECU Pirates many of my athletes had successful weekends on the gridiron. Here are some highlights from the weekend. Proud of you guys! High School Athletes:

• Apopka High School - David Barnard and Ty Darlington Clinched a District Championship with a big win over Ocoee High School
  
• Lake Brantley High - Danny Palmer, Joey Grant, Austin Lueck, Scott Teal, and Brye Bergeron clinched a playoff birth with a win over Lake Mary
  

College Guys :

• Jaye Howard, Lorenzo Edwards, Jeremy Brown and Chirs Guido when their 19th straight and are int he SEC Championship game with the Florida Gators
  
• Michael Brewster and the Ohio State Buckeyes put themselves in position to win another Big Ten Championship with a win over Penn State
• Ray Ray Armstrong and Dyron Dye and the University of Miami had a big win over Wake Forest to keep themselves in the hunt for the ACC Championship game
• Rob Cosler and the Butler Bull Dogs continue to be hot and push their record to 9 -0
